Ishk Actually Movie Review-In Short
A woman gets torn between the man she has fallen in love with and the man she is supposed to marry.

Ishk Actually Movie Review-Verdict
There is 'Actually' nothing in Ishk Actually that makes it worth a watch, except for the pretty visuals and the melodious songs and lyrics.

Ishk Actually Movie Review-Story Plot
Gia (Neha Ahuja) is about to be married to serious businessman Kabir (Rayo Bakhirta). However, Neil (Rajeev Khandelwal), the man she had a one-night stand with, has come into her life with as her wedding planner, which makes things complicated-to say the least.

How this co-incidence turns Gia's life upside down and how she manages to deal with it, forms the rest of the plot.

Ishk Actually Movie Review-Performances
This reviewer has enjoyed Rajeev Khandelwal's past performances in films such as Aamir and Shaitan, but with this film, the talented actor disappoints with nary a qualm. Rayo Bakhirta, who had made his acting debut with Pyaar Ka Punchnama, seems to think that being serious and looking morose are the same things and acts accordingly. Neha Ahuja too is unimpressive enough to give competition to her two male co-stars.

Ishk Actually Movie Review-Direction
At the outset, let us mention that the film has so many jumps between the past and the present that you could be forgiven for getting confused about what the heck is really going on. If that was not all, the bad performances, the unimpressive dialogues and the disjointed narration are sure enough to put you to sleep. If there is one thing that works for the film, it is the pretty visuals and one can see that the cinematographer has taken the necessary efforts. Also, the songs are decent enough with melodious music and good lyrics and had it not been for the weak script and the mediocre performances, the story surely had potential.

Ishk Actually Movie Review-Final Word
The pretty visuals and the music are the only two decent things about the film.
