'Choreographer Dein Perry Taught 'Dhoom Tap' To Aamir Khan once worked for Happy Feet 2'

Aamir Khan, who has flaunted his tap dance skills in the Dhoom Tap, has been receiving rave reviews for it. However, Aamir worked really hard to get the steps right.

Aamir learnt the dance form from professional Australian tap dancer and choreographer Dein Perry, who had choreographed the Sydney Olympics opening act and Happy Feet 2. Mr. Perfectionist learnt the 'grungy tap dance', which is high on energy and more difficult than the classic tap dance, for Dhoom 3.

Khan spent a while in Australia and learnt the dance form with the Perry's dance students, who were between the age group of 10-24. After Aamir trained extensively in Australia, Dein came to India, along with his dance troupe, to choreograph the song.

Confirming the news Dhoom 3's spokesperson stated, "Aamir had visited Dein Perry's academy in Australia to learn the grungy tap dance. After the training was done the dance team came to India to shoot the song."

Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, Dhoom 3 will see Aamir as the antagonist and is slated to release on December 20.
